  2. HP's OmniBack is a network backup management solution that provides
  3. centralized backup and recovery.  It is designed for backup in a
  4. distributed networked environment of workstations. HP OmniBack adds
  5. sophisticated scheduling and journaling facilities to the backup
  6. process. OmniBack's networking capabilities are based upon Apollo's NCS
  7. - Network Computing Services - an industry standard widely recognized
  8. for its distributed computing facilities.  NCS functions are
  9. incorporated within OmniBack.

  12. centralized backup and control from any machine in the network.  Any
  13. file or disk in the the network can be backed up or restored to any
  14. backup device in the network such as the optical disk library.  This

  16. maintaining networkwide data integrity and security.  The administrator
  17. can setup and schedule any number of unattended, automated backups with
  18. the optical disk library.
